Registered Physiotherapist

Lucas Zinke M.Sc.(P.T.), B. Kin., FCAMT, CAFCI

Lucas opened Miltowne Physiotherapy in 2006. He graduated from McMaster University’s Physiotherapy program in 2003 with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy. Prior to this, he completed his Bachelor of Kinesiology with honours at McMaster University in 2001.
Lucas has done extensive post-graduate training in Manual Therapy/Spinal Manipulation and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapists (FCAMT) and is certified through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (CAFCI). He is also a past Preceptor for McMaster University physiotherapy students, with clinical interests including treatment of spinal, shoulder and knee injuries.

Sarah Sakhuja BSc Hons, MSc PT

Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph and completed her Masters in Physiotherapy at McMaster University (2005). Her practice is rooted in evidence-based care with advanced training in manual orthopedic therapy, women's health, and integrated dry needling. She has certifications through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada, the Canadian Pelvic Health Academy, and in Integrated Dry Needling allowing her to offer a comprehensive and personal approach to treatment of her patients.  As co-owner of Miltowne Physiotherapy, she is especially passionate about empowering women through all stages of life with specialized care in pelvic health, pregnancy, postnatal recovery, and menopause. She takes a hands-on, whole-body approach with intentional movement as the key to healing and living well.  She has also expanded her practice to include instruction within her field for fellow Physiotherapists in Comprehensive Dry Needling.

Dr. Amanda Lett DC, B.Sc. (Hons)

Dr. Lett completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree at McMaster University, followed by four years at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where she graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic.
Dr. Lett completed additional courses in custom orthotic therapy and kinesiology taping, and is a FMT certified RockTape Doc, having received certification in Fascial Movement Taping. She has extensive clinical experience treating a wide range of conditions, and also provides chiropractic care for patients during their pregnancies.
Her practice style includes manual adjustive techniques, soft tissue therapy/ myofascial release technique, and therapeutic modalities. She also offers gentle low force techniques/ mobilizations, and incorporates stretching and exercise prescription, as well as custom orthotics when indicated.

Registered MAssage Therapist

Annelise Vervoort RMT

Annelise is a Registered Massage Therapist with over 16 years of experience and has been a practitioner at Miltowne Physiotherapy for 15 years. She is a graduate of Centennial College’s Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy program. She has completed additional training in acupuncture through McMaster University’s Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program and regularly integrates acupuncture and fascial techniques into her treatments.
Annelise’s clinical background includes working in multidisciplinary clinics, long-term complex continuing care and oncology settings, as well as women’s health with a focus on pre- and postnatal care and labour support. She also has experience treating athletes and pediatric clients and has extensive training in TMJ-specific treatment. She approaches massage therapy with a highly client-centred focus, encouraging clients to be present, engaged, and actively involved in setting treatment goals and guiding the direction of each session.
Fun fact: Annelise is also a Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist. Outside of the clinic, Annelise enjoys spending time with her family and horses, having fun with her dogs, travelling, and relaxing with a good book.

Rachel Overland

Rachel has been the clinic's Office Manager since we opened in 2006. She is the clinic's contact person for any billing, accounts payable, insurance or appointment enquiries.
